Admission to the Singapore Bar

Forms Prescribed under Legal Profession (Admission) Rules 2024

  1. Form A(1) – For person applying for admission as a lawyer (non-practitioner) under rule 25 – (w.e.f. 23 April 2025)

    Please note that the Form A(1) under the Legal Profession (Admission) Rules 2024 has been amended. Individuals applying for admission as a Lawyer (Non-Practitioner) after 22 April 2025 must use the new version of Form A(1) provided above.

  2. Form A(2) - For person applying for admission as advocate and solicitor under rule 42 not relying on exemption from serving any practice training period

  3. Form A(3) - For person applying for admission under rule 42 who wishes to rely on exemption from serving practice training period

  4. Form B(1) - Certificate under rule 25(4)(a)

  5. Form B(2) - Certificate under rule 42

  6. Form C - Certificate of Good Character for Admission as Lawyer (Non-Practitioner) / Advocate & Solicitor

  7. Form D(1) to D(6) - Certificates of Diligence for Admission as Advocate & Solicitor
