Part B Course
1. Where will the Course be conducted?

2. What is the duration and dates of the Course and Examination?
A: The Course will run for about 5 months, commencing early July and ending early December. Applications for the Course open in April. There is only one intake per calendar year.
3. Must I attend the Course, i.e. can I just take the Examination?
A: The Course is a full-time course and attendance is compulsory. Please refer to Rule 3 and 4 of the Legal Profession (Admission) Rules.
4. If I wish to take the Course and examination, when and how can I obtain the study materials?
A: The study materials will be disseminated through an online learning portal, SILE Campus. Login particulars to SILE Campus will be made known to you about 1 week before the start of the Course.
5. Will students be given a Certificate upon passing the examination?
A: No. A certificate of passing Part B of the Bar Examination will not be issued. Results are released via email. The Institute’s certificate in Form B of the Second Schedule of the Legal Profession (Admission) Rules is issued electronically via the Court’s eLitigation system.
6. What is the dress code for attending Part B course?
A: The dress code is business attire. For more information, refer to this link http://www.sile.edu.sg/part-b#Code_of_Conduct.
If you still wish to apply for instalments payment, please submit a letter (addressed to the Director of the Part B Course) setting out your request and enclose any supporting documents after you have made your online application for the Part B Course.
7. Will I be able to work part-time during the Part B course?
