Registration and Approval

The manner of service of the practice training period must be registered with the Institute. Registration can be made up to 6 weeks before and no later than 14 days before the commencement of the practice training period. Failure to do so may result in any period served prior to the lodgement of the registration being disregarded.

• Registration and approval of the manner of service of the practice training period under a practice training contract with a Singapore law practice must be completed online.
• Registration and approval of the manner of service of the practice training period under a practice training contract with a qualifying entity must be completed offline using the prescribed Forms. Completed Forms must be submitted via email.
• Registration and approval of the manner of service of the practice training period through working as Judicial Service Officer or Legal Service Officer or under the supervision of a Qualifying Relevant Legal Officer must be completed offline using the prescribed Forms. Completed Forms must be submitted via email.
