Course and Examinations Fee

First-Timer Applicants

The Part B Course and Examinations fees, which include a non refundable application fee of $545, are as follows (inclusive of GST):

Singapore Permanent Residents

Re-Takers

Re-takers who wish to sit for the Part B Course and Examinations pursuant to rule 11 of the Legal Profession (Admission) Rules 2024 must register during the periods stated in the results email. The fees for retaking the Part B Examinations are $545 per module (inclusive of GST).

 

All fees are inclusive of:

  • a personal LawNet account; and
  • access to the SILE Campus, an online learning portal to assist applicants in their preparation for the Examinations.

Part B Donated Bursaries Fund

The Institute is pleased to announce the official launch of the Part B Donated Bursaries Fund as of Monday, 5 May 2025. This new initiative is designed to support financially disadvantaged candidates for the Singapore Bar with their Part B Course and Examinations fees, and was established with the generous donations of members of the legal fraternity. The Part B Donated Bursaries Fund comprises the Jeffrey Chan Wah Teck and Family Bursary, the Herbert Smith Freehills Prolegis Bursary, as well as the Chester Toh Bursary. 

Applications for the Part B Donated Bursaries Fund are now open.
